Indian Delegation Visits Namibia

The Indian Economic Trade Organization business delegation from India met Team Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board , as well as Team Chamber of Mines Namibia in Windhoek, and discussed opportunities for investments and business collaborations.

The Indian delegation paid a visit to M/s Dinapama Manufacturing and Supplies, which is sourcing school uniform's fabric from India, in Windhoek. High Commission of India facilitated these interactions.

The Indian delegation was warmly hosted and welcomed by the Indian High Commissioner to the Republic of Namibia, H.E. Shri Prashant Agrawal at the India House in Windhoek, Namibia.

India-Namibia Trade Forum, represented by Shri Asif Iqbal Indian Economic Trade Organization entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with India-Namibia Chamber Of Commerce & Industry (INCCI), represented by Shri Raj Rallan, for cooperation between the two chambers of commerce in furthering business ties between India and Namibia.

Facilitated by the High Commission, the Indian Economic Trade Organization business delegation called on the Deputy Minister, Ministry of Industrialisation and Trade Honorable Verna Sinimbo and received her guidance on trade and investment opportunities. High Commissioner Prashant Agrawal, speaking on this occasion, expressed optimism about the growth of bilateral economic relations in the times to come and mentioned that visit of this delegation from India is a testimony to that.

B2B meetings organized and hosted by High Commission for the Indian Economic Trade Organization business delegation. Over 100 Namibian companies and businesspersons interacted with Indian companies from different economic sectors including ports & infra, power, mining, gold & semi-precious stones, pharma & healthcare, chocolate production, and explored avenues of partnerships and collaborations.
